Courtyard By Marriott Fishkill Hotel

Locations was convenient and the room was nicely presented.

Room was near perfect with the exception of a few things. The T.V. did not function properly, the remote would not work or if it did it would be sporadically. The shower did not have sufficient hot water or water pressure.

Overall it is a lovely welcoming hotel and we enjoyed the stay, the location was marvellous to the outdoor patio area. The breakfast is hot, one of the best things. Offers great service and outstanding food. There's great pool and easy parking. Thank you for a fine stay.

All in all everything was great, had a really nice stay for my last night. So glad that Hearing Accessible room with double beds and the TV, for instance I booked was available.

Room size was great. Exec. King with French doors to LR with pull out sofa. Great for 2 8yr olds. Plus pool! Walking distance of several restaurants, all family friendly.

Heating system had some issues. Two units. Both either blazing hot or ice cold. No medium setting for warm (that functioNed properly). Not ideal for our winter stay.

Staff very friendly, facilities clean and new. Indoor pool.

I like the hotel, my only complaint is to have to pay for "high speed" wifi access. The free one is insufficient.

Room was very clean, staff is extremely friendly. Balcony was also a nice and beds were very comfortable.

Room was pretty small. Appears to have been recently renovated and had a strong plastic odor (smelt like a new pool float)

I found the recently renovated Marriott Courtyard in Fishkill, NY really excellent. The staff greeted me with kindness at check-in. My room on the 4th floor had a fine view of the Catskill Mountains, and I enjoyed waking up to see the colorful sunrise. The bed was comfortable. The hotel's location is convenient, right off Route 84. I must mention the light complimentary breakfast, a pleasant surprise. They offered a decent selection with muffins, bagels, and juices, something I appreciated since many Courtyards skip breakfast altogether. The room still felt a bit sterile and uninspired despite the recent updates. I wished for a bit more flair and personal touches in the decor. The Bistro option felt limited, especially at dinner time. Prices seemed on the higher side for what's offered. I ended up opting for takeout instead. Internet speed fluctuated, which can be frustrating if you need to work.

I liked the pool and hot tub. I also liked the decor, especially the carpeting in the halls.

I would have liked a real coffee pot so that I could make a pot of coffee instead of just a cup per packet (2 regular coffee packets were in the coffee tray and 1 decaf). I had to use the coffee packet a couple of times to have more coffee.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

The courtyard provided a perfect spot for evening chats. Service was friendly but don't expect complimentary coffee. Try the Bistro instead for a decent pick-me-up.

Family with kids might have better luck elsewhere

The staff was friendly, really went out of their way to help us when we arrived at midnight, even replaced my key when I got locked out. The location was convenient with lots of food choices within a mile.

While not overly expensive, it still was like a lot considering the drawbacks.

Clean rooms and helpful staff, but parking can get crowded at peak times.

The beds were super comfy, and we loved the nearby Fishkill Golf Course for a fun family outing. The kids had a blast.

My kids wished there was a kid-friendly pool area. It would be great to have a more vibrant space for family activities.

I was captivated by the hotel's clean and inviting lobby, complete with comfortable seating and a lovely fireplace. Its accessibility for seniors was particularly commendable.

Bring back the complimentary breakfast, please.

Friendly and Accommodating Staff

I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. The smart TV in the room was a nice touch. I wish there was a complimentary breakfast option available, as it would enhance the overall convenience of the stay.
